Here Comes a New Challenger!

What’s up world, this is Coty Smith, one of the new additions to FYG.

I am very passionate when it comes to video games. As a gamer from the age of 1, I have had a long and loving history with games. So when it comes to not only writing about them, but working with a group of guys that share the same amount of enthusiasm as I do, then this isn’t anything short of a dream come true.

I operate my personal blog and Twitter account, as well as my not-updated-often-enough blog for my consulting work that I do locally.

Generally, the areas of gaming that I try to focus on range from the retro to current generation. I typically steer toward the Xbox 360 and Wii side of things, as well as anything portable. If it’s on the DS, PSP, or iPhone, or even the Game Boy Advance or the Game Gear, it’s right up my alley. I’m a Mac, not a PC, so even though I get to miss out on several good PC games, I do enjoy a good original Mac game, even if they are few and far between. Also, for me, downloadable content is king. Yes, I am that guy with every Xbox Live Arcade game downloaded, or all the pages of my iPhone loaded up with apps. Since these are the things that matter most to me, this is typically the type of stuff you’ll hear about when I contribute to the site.
